USE
Vertical single-chamber water storage reservoirs are used for drinking water storage, which allows to equalize periodical water deficits, caused most often by too small yield of well at the water intake in relation to the requirements. Water storage reservoirs are at the same time a kind of additional protection of water source used for fire-fighting purposes.
STORAGE RESERVOIR CONSTRUCTION
Vertical storage reservoirs are made of steel elements (stainless steel), certified. The reservoir consists of the jacket in the shape of a vertical roller closed from the bottom with a flat bottom head, and from the top with a conic roof. There is a discharge stack in the roof and a connector to assembly an instrument stalk to measure liquid mirror in the reservoir. Reservoir has two revisory manholes:
- rectangular manhole on the roof with an insulated lid,
- round manhole in the lower part of the jacket.
Reservoir is also equipped in an external and internal ladder which allows to get inside the reservoir. External piping system is also a part of the technological equipment of the reservoir.
All the connection sockets are ended with flanges for pressure Po=10barand are placed in the bottom head of the reservoir, which must be taken into account while designing and executing the foundation. Welding joints leakproofness is checked at the manufacturer's with a penetration method.
INSULATION AND ANTICORROSION PROTECTION
Reservoir's thermal insulation is made on the extenal side of the steel jacket from mineral wool g=100mm thick. Roof and the manhole in the roof are also insulated (foamed polystyrene, g=100mm thick). External insulation is protected with jacket made of trapezoidal galvanized sheet or of sheet aluminium for individual order.
External and internal surfaces are etched and passivated.
TRANSPORT OF STORAGE RESERVOIRS
Depending on the capacity of the reservoir and the distance to its exploiting place, vessels are delivered in total or in elements. Thermal insulation and external jacket are always assembled at destination place, after the vessel is placed on the foundation.
Because of the big overall dimensions vessels are delivered with special transport for oversized cargo. The manufacturer provides such kind of transport. It's investor's obligation to prepare the place for the vessel unloading.
NOTE!
- Reservoir manufacturer supplies the giudelines for reservoir foundation designing.
- Reservoirs are produced in two nominal executions:
- type A for DN=4500 mm (o objętości całkowitej 100 m3),
- type B for DN=4800 mm (o objętości użytkowej 100 m3).

CONSTRUCTIONS OUT OF THE SERIES OF TYPES
Storage reservoirs with volume not defined in the series of types are produced on the basis of Buyer's individual instructions. While ordering we need the following information:
- vessel nominal capacity,
- vessel diameter or height,
- connection sockets' size, quantity and placing,
- revisory manholes' size and quantity,
- vessel exploiting place (outer vessel, vessel placed in a building).
UWAGA
- For all our pressure and non-pressure vessels we have a positive certificate of PZH in Warsaw for contact with drinking water.

WYTYCZNE BUDOWLANE POD FUNDAMENT PIONOWEGO ZBIORNIKA RETENCYJNEGO
UWAGA
- Powyższe wytyczne służą do opracowania projektu konstrukcyjnego fundamentu.
- Wysokość „a” i „b” określane indywidualnie dla danej lokalizacji zbiornika.
- Przykładowe naciski na fundament: dla zbiornika V=100 m3 wynoszą PDN450=0,068 MPa i PDN480=0,06 MPa.
- Opaskę odprowadzającą wody deszczowe z płaszcza zbiornika wg własnych rozwiązań wykonuje zamawiający lub wykonawca fundamentu.
